Housebuilder names firm’s divisional chairman for role
Housebuilder Keepmoat has appointed a new chief executive after Tim Beale decided to stand down.
Divisional chairman Ian Hoad, who has been with the firm more than 20 years across two stints, will take up the role next week.
Beale, who became chief executive in 2019, said: “After careful consideration, I have taken the decision that the time is right for me to step down as CEO.â€
Hoad was promoted to the role of divisional chairman in 2019 and is divisional chairman for Scotland, the North-east, and Yorkshire East.
Keepmoat was acquired by Aermont Capital, a European asset manager, in October 2021.
Aermont managing partner Paul Golding said: “First and foremost, I would like to thank Tim for his outstanding leadership of Keepmoat over the past eight years. He has been an exemplary CEO, transforming and developing the business and its partnership model.
“Tim informed the board of his decision to step down over a year ago, enabling us to conduct an extensive external and internal search to find his successor.â€
In its last set of results filed at Companies House, Keepmoat’s turnover was up 11% to £865m although pre-tax profit was down 10% to £83m. The number of completions during the period was up 8% to 4,074.
