Brickability debuted on AIM last September
Builders merchant Brickability turned in an improved pre-tax profit in its debut set of results as a listed company.
The firm, which listed on AIM last September, said pre-tax profit was up 42% to £12.2m in the year to March on revenue up 15% to £187m.
Brickability, which counts housebuilders Redrow and Berkeley Group among its customers, has 25 sites and sales offices, employing around 225 people throughout the UK.
Chairman John Richards said: “While the outlook is of course pandemic dependent, our core market looks strong and this is reflected in current trading levels.â€
The firm supplies over 300 million bricks annually along with roofing, heating, flooring, doors and windows.
