Architect’s Martin Ðǿմ«Ã½ at the Forest School in Epping Forest reaches completion
Architect Buckley Gray Yeoman’s Martin Ðǿմ«Ã½ at the Forest School in Epping Forest, London, has reached completion this month.
The building, built by contractor Barley McNaughton, is situated in a conservation area on a site that contains four grade II-listed buildings.
The new building incorporates smaller windows to limit solar gain and black glass on elevations of the ground floor.
Paul White, director at Buckley Gray Yeoman, said: “Our challenge in designing the Martin Ðǿմ«Ã½ was to remain sensitive to Forest School’s heritage and remarkable location while creating a contemporary piece of architecture.â€
