E&B Engineering Services Group
The judges felt that E&B put together a very good presentation. They were impressed by the pedigree of the work undertaken by E&B, particularly the Farringdon Road contract in London for Merrill Lynch. Turnover was up 43% to £10.8 million in 2002, with profits up 37% to £270 000. Repeat business levels are high, the company is working towards Investor in People status and the judges were pleased to see E&B sponsoring one of its staff through a higher degree.
