Vandal stopper

The Crompton Vienza range of vandal-resistant luminaires from Cooper Lighting and Security can be used indoors and outside.

They are available in round and square versions; both being sealed to IP65. Several styles are offered to suit different applications.

The Vienza luminaires are supplied with 28 or 38 W compact fluorescent lamps for maximum energy efficiency.

The EOS light point P211 is designed for a range of uses including marker lights and emergency lighting.

The EOS chain P212 high power LED chain can be used inside and outdoors for backlighting in advertising and architectural features, edge injection for LED-lit signs and retail display lighting.

Down in flames

Scolmore International has added an IP65 downlighter to its Flameguard System.

The system provides fire and acoustic-rated properties to luminaires installed into fire-resistant ceiling materials. The downlighter is rated for installation in damp areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

Several low voltage or mains lamp types including compact fluorescent can be used; seven lens ring options are offered.

A standard fit

Thorn Lighting's MenloSoft SR luminaires enable one fitting type to meet the lighting scheme requirements of Lighting Guide LG3: 2001 and LG7: 2005 for display screen areas.

MenloSoft SR is a semi-recessed modular fluorescent with a suspended, butterfly-shaped optic. The optic is offered with a specular or semi-specular central aluminium louvre, flanked by micro-perforated wings.

Concord:marlin's Lytebeam is a three-circuit lighting track designed to suit most architectural interiors.

The deep-profile structural beam is manufactured from extruded aluminium and is available in lengths up to 4 m. It can be bracket-mounted off a side wall or suspended with wires or rods.
