A lighting scheme by Riegens Lighting has made shopping at Sainsbury's Maypole superstore in Birmingham a brighter experience.
The firm worked alongside m&e consultant Cudd Bentley Partnership and Pier Electric to provide a scheme for the 3900 m2 store. The installation provides a level of 1000 lux in the store using customised twin 58 W cross-aisle fluorescent luminaires. For the atrium walkway, where most flexibility was possible, Riegens supplied its Concido low energy compact fluorescent downlight.
