GTI-Kombimatic, the UK manufacturer of window machinery based in Luton, unveils several new products and improved versions of their most popular models at Glassex 2005.

New products include the 1HDX Cruciform Welder for PVC profiles that enables the fabricator to produce a cruciform welded joint in one single operation. As a result, it is only necessary to cut once, weld once and clean once to produce a cruciform joint. Including joints for internally and externally glazed frames.

Also being seen for the first time at Glassex is the Kombimatec AMC602 CNC Door Router. Completely automatic, it produces a fully machined door stile in three minutes including stiles with multi point locking mechanisms.

A new bead measuring system utilising the latest RF technology is being launched at the show. This device allows for faster bead measuring and automatic transmission of the dimensions to the bead sawing machine without the use of swapping ‘chips’ or connecting leads. The EMA202 can be used with an existing beadsaw.

Improved machines on display include the EV470 CNC Corner and Transom Cleaner (pictured) fitted with special knives for decorative profile cleaning, knives for woodgrain profiles and reliable three phase routing motors. Necessary for continuous use on joints welded with gaskets.

Additionally, the Kombimatec DGS530 CNC Double Mitre Saw is now available with digital display of angle setting. This lower cost option provides easier operator interface and therefore improved efficiency.
