Homeowners at Huddersfield’s Equilibrium development in Plover Road, Lindley are benefiting from an Intelligent Home Control (IHC) system from Square D. The flats also feature the firm’s integrated home entertainment and communications system LexCom Home.

The IHC System increases security, as each flat is fitted with passive infrared detectors and door sensors. These will trigger an alarm and switch on lights automatically if a break-in occurs. The LexCom Home system individually networks each apartment for the distribution of terrestrial and satellite tv, dvd, computer data, broadband and telephone signals through standard connection points in each room. The system is operated by infrared remote control.

Square D approved installer Active Technology Systems of Huddersfield fitted all of the systems in the flats.
