BPT Automation has had ITS armoured Strabuc rising bollards installed at the Fire Constabulary’s new Force Contact Centre (the Force’s communications hub which recently opened in Fife).
The bollards have been deployed to control access to vehicle traffic as visitors are only allowed to gain entry to the site once they have reported to reception and been verified.
During events such as a power failure, it is possible to override the hydraulic mechanism on each Strabuc module from the top of the post by means of a specially-designed locking device which is supplied as standard.
