The project spearheads IFSEC 2004, which features more IP companies than any other security event.
More than 100 such companies have already confirmed their attendance and CMPi has committed investment towards the launch of IFSEC's IP and networks content, which will be branded Network Advantage.
A dedicated website section will feature the research results and new elements that will centralise participating IP and networks companies under the Network Advantage umbrella.
As part of IFSEC's move to drive benefit back to the industry and make use of its unique position, the research results will enable Network Advantage to deliver relevance, context and, most importantly, industry buy-in.
Said IFSEC event director, Richard Clarke, "In an area that is currently served by niche events, conferences and meetings this new IFSEC initiative, combined with the research programme, will ensure that Network Advantage is about the bold commercial reality of rolling out IP and networks solutions."
IFSEC and Security Solutions 2004 take place May 10 – 13 at the NEC, Birmingham, and run alongside Safety & Health Expo, the ACPO Exhibition and the Facilities Show.
