This week鈥檚 #buildingdoodle sketch is a concept of a two-bed roof extension in Hackney, drawn by Kieran Walker, architect at Waugh Thistleton Architects. He says: 鈥淓nvisioned as a lightweight addition to the existing building, the scheme will incorporate an exposed structural timber ceiling, and prefabricated SIPs system. The open-plan living area (shown here) extends into an external roof terrace, and will be glazed on three sides to capitalise on views towards the City.鈥�
