Construction work to remodel Fleetway House, spanning Fleet Place and Farringdon Street in London is due to start this month.
The scheme, designed by architects Sturgis Associates, will see expansion of the existing nine storey structure to 13 floors, relocation of the main core and the provision of new services. The building’s existing concrete cladding will be stripped back and replaced by a lightweight facade designed to give a crystalline appearance. The cladding is claimed to exceed Ðǿմ«Ã½ Regulation requirements. M&E consultant on the scheme is Hilson Moran Partnership. Work is due for completion at the end of 2008.
