The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has asked the ECA to provide examples of practical difficulties in relation to the Work at Height Regulations.
In particular, the ECA wants to target enforcer activity (HSE or local authority). However, any examples such as problems due to restrictions on methods of access by clients, will also be useful. The HSE and ECA will then consider information and concerns and try to resolve problems wherever possible.
Association members are asked to send comments by e-mail to paul.reeve@ eca.co.uk or by fax to 020 7221 7344. Feedback is requested from all member firms, regardless of size. It must be kept brief and factual, and contact information should be supplied for ECA records.
The ECA and HSE will review all information on a strictly confidential basis: correspondence will have company names removed prior to viewing.
