Dispute resolution specialist makes key appointments, including two from rival Trett Consulting

Driver Group has recruited three new directors, including two from rival dispute resolution specialist Trett Consulting.

Driver has taken on Andrew Glover as Northern regional director. He was a director at Trett, where he had worked for nine years. He is a chartered civil engineer with over thirty years' experience in construction.

Alexander Dickson, a QS with 22 years' experience, joins as director of Driver's Scottish branch. He worked for Trett for seven years, latterly running the firm's Scottish office.

Another QS, Tim McGoldrick, joins Driver from EC Harris, where he spent three years as a partner and head of the contract advisory service. He has been appointed director of heavy engineering.

In January Driver said it had increased it pre-tax profit 28% from £1.29m to £1.65m last year. The results for the period ended 30 September 2005 also showed that turnover was up 6% from £7.60m to £8.06m. The Lancashire-based company's performance will be boosted by a recently-won deal to provide commercial and planning services to an engineering consultancy in Abu Dhabi, which is building a £8.3bn mixed-use scheme.
