Bridgend’s Nicola Mably has achieved the City and Guilds Workplace Learner Award in the Inspire Adult Learner Awards 2007, which rewards inspirational learners.

A victim of domestic violence, Nicola is a single mother who has experienced depression, but now her life has been transformed. She is in the second year of a City and Guilds course in Electrotechnical Technology and is set to become an electrician.
