The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) has finally agreed to the development of a card for professionally qualified people.

Card holders will have to do a higher level health and safety test which is being developed by the Construction Industry Council (CIC).

CIOB members will be eligible because their qualifications have been mapped against S/NVQs and approved for recognition against platinum or black CSCS cards for supervisors.
