A new system for automatic cleaning of welded joints that are not always a perfect square has been designed by Kombimatec for its CNC cleaners to avoid the need to finish cleaning by hand.

The system assists the operator when inserting the frame down the centre of the weld to help prevent cleaning tools deviating from the correct path.

Secondly, the machine recalculates automatically the new start position of the tools if the joint is not at 90°.
