Chris Lewis Security Services has acquired Prestige Fire Protection, a Southampton-based company established in 1974.

The Oxford-based security installer launched the fire brand at its annual Fire and Security exhibition at Oxford鈥檚 Lincoln College EPA Centre.

The acquisition strengthens the company鈥檚 existing fire proposition.. Prestige has a long history of providing bespoke turnkeye fire protection systems including design installation and maintenance to the private and public sector. MD Chris Lewis said it opened up 鈥渆xciting opportunities for our company鈥�.

Mr Security has acquired Basingstoke-based Oakley Systems Ltd. It follows MR鈥檚 announcement of a 3-5 year expansion plan and its subsequent acquisition of Hoffman Plc. MR chief executive Tony Bygraves said 鈥漁akley are a perfect fit specialising in intruder, CCTV and access control systems mainly within the high end Government sector.鈥�

Jim O鈥橠wyer, a founder of Oakley with 25 years experience, joins MR as a regional MD at Kingston branch.
