Cheshire-based Visual Verification, the largest independent CCTV monitoring station in the UK, reports that all of its operators have now successfully passed their level 2 ASET training for CCTV (Public Space Surveillance) Operatives .
The company says this make it the first monitoring station in the country to do so. The operators had to pass both practical and theoretical tests to the high standard demanded by ASET, which follows the syllabus set out by the Security Industry Authority for granting the license ahead of the March 2006 deadline.
The training was conducted in-house at Visual's Timperley HQ by training manager Bob Dunbar. He has nearly 30 years of training experience within Greater Manchester Police.
