David Francis has been appointed neighbourhood manager for Tees Valley Housing Group. He was formerly a director at Middlesbrough Environment City, a local charity. Jennifer Jones will assist him as neighbourhood management support officer.

Duncan Walton
Penwith Housing Association of Cornwall has promoted Duncan Walton to deputy chief executive. He has been commercial director since 1997.

Chris Goodrum
Chris Goodrum has been made service development manager at Wakefield council. He was formerly area housing manager.

Steve Watson
Steve Watson has been appointed development director at Gloucestershire Housing Association.

Liz Griffiths
Liz Griffiths has joined Keynote as regional regeneration manager.

Hacas Chapman Hendy
Five people have joined housing consultant Hacas Chapman Hendy. Susan Manning has been appointed manager of its South-east human resources consultancy. Heather Ferguson has joined as a human resources consultant. Margareth Ainley has joined the recruitment team in the Coventry office.

Andrew Thomas has been appointed head of asset management in the Midlands. Barbara Dawson has also joined the asset management team as a senior consultant.

Stacey Walkes
Stacey Walkes has been made tenancy management officer at Newlon Housing Trust, not Hackney council as stated last week.

“There’s a real shortage of capable staff and thus a lot of opportunity at the moment. If you are able but don’t have much experience, get in at any level and be flexible and willing to learn.â€
