JVC Professional Europe has promoted Yash Patel (below) to Executive Director, CCTV Europe, in a new business plan for its CCTV operation.

The appointment was made to support the company鈥檚 expansion and establishment of a dedicated European CCTV operation.

Patel was formerly Sales and Marketing Director, UK and he has been instrumental in the overall success of CCTV sales and products in the UK and Europe.

He has won several industry awards including the recent Premier Award for Outstanding Achieve-ment鈥淚 am very excited by the challenges ahead and I am delighted to be involved in developing fresh new products for customers and a real European team鈥� he said.

In addition to this appointment, all other UK product areas, including video, presentation systems and storage are now consolidated into Professional Video. Ian Scott has been appointed to run the JVC operation as Director, Professional Video Operation UK.
