Best thing about the job
Getting to deal with all aspects of the business.
Why did you get involved in the job?
Site management was always something I wanted to be involved in. In my career, I have enjoyed the challenges and rewards that the housing industry has to offer.
What would you do if you were housing minister?
Free up greenfield and brownfield land and make the planning process quicker. This more consistent approach to planning would include identifying the land that will become available over the next five years, which would allow housebuilders to plan for the future more efficiently.
