Intamac Systems, the Northampton-based Internet access monitoring and control specialist, has appointed David Rimmer as its new business development manager. David joins having spent the past three years as European marketing manager of Cooper Security. He will now be overseeing Intamac's B2C and B2B marketing activities.
WSG Associates' experienced training team has been further strengthened by the appointment of Kevin Faulkner. Kevin will be primarily responsible for the delivery of vocational qualifications such as 'Security, Safety and Loss Prevention' Level 2 and the NVQ in 'Security Management' (Levels 3 and 4).
Formerly the divisional director of supply chain management, Keith Purvis has been appointed operations director at Norbain – one of Europe's leading distributors of CCTV and access control systems. The company's annual turnover grew to £95 million in the past financial year. Norbain supplies both stand-alone units and fully-integrated network solutions for installers and their end users.
Omega Security Solutions – the independent specialist provider of security solutions to end users – has secured the services of Chris Sare. 43-year-old Sare takes on the role of administration supervisor at the group's northern headquarters in Keighley, West Yorkshire.
SSS Management Services has announced the appointment of key personnel together with the restructuring of its senior management team in what marks the next phase of the company's business growth strategy. Phil George (previously with ADT) has taken on the role of sales and marketing director. Terry Baker remains the company's managing director, overseeing all client security and facilities management services. Paul Burchfield is now operations director, while Julie Town is the commercial manager controlling contractual agreements with all suppliers and sub-contractors. Duncan Freeman is the new senior project manager, and Jo Sutton the operations administrator.
Chris Gould has been appointed sales executive within the IT division at CCTV specialist JVC Professional. Chris – who joined the company back in January – will provide support to existing JVC storage specialist integrators in the Information Technology sector. Chris previously worked for Northamber plc and computer giant Hewlett-Packard.
Video Controls has boosted the staffing strength in its southern office by recruiting five internal account managers. Based at the company's expanded facility in High Wycombe, Bucks, their role will include dealing efficiently with sales enquiries for the full ranges of VCL and Ademco Video surveillance products. The five VCL joiners are Tiffany Anderson, Paul Robertshaw, Anthony Taylor, Katie Steinle and Guy Combrinck.
