Siemens ÐÇ¿Õ´«Ã½ Technologies’ (SBT) SES Division – formerly Photo-Scan – has updated Warrington’s town centre, inner town and Town Hall CCTV systems on behalf of the Borough Council.

Digital technology has been used to replace time-lapse recorders and multiplexers. High quality recordings are now deliverable at a rate of 12 frames per second.

SBT also proposed a cost-effective solution for monitoring the Town Hall’s cameras, located a few miles from the Control Room. A digital system is now in use that enables video images to be transmitted over an IP network.
