Radius Plastics, the specialist arched and angled window and door manufacturer which claims to be the UK’s leading profile bending company, have announced the imminent launch of a new product they say will take the conservatory market by storm.

They have developed an innovative concept in Gable Ends which they will market at half the normal price. Given that the conservatory market is still relatively buoyant, with higher value models holding their own, then this would appear to be a winning move by Radius.

The new product has been developed from high adhesion, high grade rigid PVC-U sheets. The benefits to conservatory installers are that only one or two sealed units need to be used with only 3 or 6 glazing beads. This is compared to conventional Gable Ends, which can use up to 20 sealed units and up to 80 glazing beads, and as a result the time savings on site, as well as the money savings, are considerable.

This is in addition to Radius Plastics’ normal extensive arched and angled window and door product range. The company has a fast turnaround on simple products and a 10 to 15 day turnaround on complicated frames, and has a competitive pricing structure.

Radius has recently been innovative on customer service too. The company is the only arched specialist to offer glass manufacturing sizes within 48 hours or receiving an order, so speeding up the whole process as their customers can order the sealed units and have them in stock for when the arched or angled frame is delivered. In addition, Radius also stock the 10 most popular profile systems, as well as partial stocks of several more, so almost eliminating the need to send profile from cutting lists to the bending company by carrier.
